A Charlotte woman was arrested Thursday on felony tax charges filed by the North Carolina Department of Revenue.

Charisse Annette Ward, 43, of 5012 Shadyside Court, Charlotte, was charged on November
9, 2017 with two counts of Attempt to Evade or Defeat Tax.

A Monroe businessman pleaded guilty Wednesday in Wake County Superior Court to felony tax charges filed by the North Carolina Department of Revenue.

Some products have been removed from previous versions of the list of products exempt from Sales and Use Tax.
