A Charlotte woman pleaded guilty Wednesday in Wake County District Court to tax charges filed by the North Carolina Department of Revenue.

A Jackson County businessman pleaded guilty Tuesday in Wake County Superior Court to felony tax charges filed by the North Carolina Department of Revenue.

The North Carolina Department of Revenue has published a notice on how the federal tax law changes in the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act passed in December and the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018 passed in February will affect North Carolina individual income and corporate income tax returns.
