Raleigh, N.C.— The deadline for filing state individual income tax returns with the North Carolina Department of Revenue is Tuesday, April 18. Electronically filed returns must be submitted electronically by midnight on April 18.

RALEIGH – Two Wilmington Attorneys pleaded guilty Wednesday in Wake County District Court to tax charges filed by the North Carolina Department of Revenue.

RALEIGH – A High Point businesswoman was arrested Wednesday on felony tax charges filed by the North Carolina Department of Revenue.

Jill Gilstrap Clodfelter, 47, of 426 Edgedale Dr., High Point, was charged on February 22, 2017 with one count of Embezzlement of State Property.

RALEIGH – A Onslow County businesswoman was arrested Monday on felony and misdemeanor tax charges filed by the North Carolina Department of Revenue.

In an effort to assist more taxpayers during the upcoming tax filing period, the North Carolina Department of Revenue (NCDOR) will offer extended phone hours beginning Monday, Jan. 5.
