Letter Of Good Standing

A letter of good standing can be obtained from the Department by any type of entity that has all of its tax accounts in good compliance.

To submit the request, complete the Request for Letter of Good Standing Electronic Form. 

If a request is sent via fax or mail, it must include the name of the business, or sole proprietor, the entity ID or NCDOR account number, and be signed by a current officer/partner of the entity.
