Help Wanted: Customer Service Agents

The NC Department of Revenue is recruiting for Customer Service Agents. These are entry-level positions with important responsibilities and the opportunity for career growth and development.

We have positions available in Raleigh, Greensboro, and Rocky Mount. Customer Service Agents take calls from taxpayers to answer questions and encourage compliance with our state’s tax laws.

• Great customer service skills are a must!
• No tax experience necessary!
• Starting salary set at: $39,000

Specific Requirements

• High School or General Educational Development (GED) diploma 
• Two years of related administrative experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
