Asheville Service Center Update
The Asheville Service Center reopened to the public for walk-in service on Monday, Oct. 21, 2024.
Most Service Centers are open to the public for walk-in traffic on a limited schedule. Appointments are recommended, and all walk-ins will be first come first serve.

The NC Department of Revenue office at 1429 Rock Quarry Road in Raleigh has moved to a new location at 3301 Terminal Drive Suite 125 near Tower Shopping Center. The fax number has also changed to 919-250-7898. Please make note of the new address and fax number. The office is open by appointment only. Note: The Excise office includes Motor Fuels Tax, Motor Carrier Tax, Tobacco Products Tax, Privilege License Tax, and Alcoholic Beverages Tax.
